For the longest time, I shunned orangey pink roses. They just didn’t do it for me. Until… I met this glorious bloom. And yet, I didn’t paint her. But she was patient, just sat off to the side, being beautiful. She didn’t make noise, call for attention, but every so often my eye would fall on her again, study her closer. In the end, she managed to completely charm me into painting her, and here she is. She won.
